I'm a big drinker of tea, and have been since my teens. It goes down a little easier than coffee, and comes in a much wider variety of flavors and types. Also it suits my puttery personality.
In any case, when in Atlanta, please visit Elephant Tea, which is at both Phipps and Lenox malls. Go to the counter and ask them to take down one of their big tins of tea, open it up and let you have whiff. When your eyes roll back into the sockets and a quiver runs the length of your spine, you will know you've found the right tea. I recommend their house blend Empress of China, or for something completely different, try Lapsang Souchong. If you're into the green tea thing, Genmaicha is great; it's like getting your cereal and tea in one cup.
Here are some other good sources:
Twinings Tea
They still make the best Earl Grey, and their Blackcurrant and Lapsang Souchong are to die for.
Republic of Tea They are poseury, but they make some good stuff. I'm partial to using their brew basket to steep loose tea, it fits into every pot and cup and it doesn't rust.
Celestial Seasonings They're hippy, they're dippy, but they make the best damned herb tea of anyone.
